The integration into e-box in MyClinic works completely as ordinary mail when sending mail to a patient – it is a simple checkmark to set at the mail if it is to be sent by e-Box. When using e-Box for sending mails to patients, there is no need to know the patient’s e-mail address, because the civil registration number is used.
In MyClinic is it possible to do many different filters ex. to see the e-mails sent by e-Box, both for the individual patient and for all the clinic’s patients divided by the period desired. This allows the clinic to follow the consumption itself.
E-Box is unfortunately not free – it should definitely be! – but e-Box company takes a fee for connecting the individual clinic. There is also a postage for each shipment.
One of our specialist doctors who send a lot of calls and other private mails to patients has calculated that for his clinic the starting costs are earned back in 2 months, and then it is approx. 25 dkk cheaper to send a letter through e-Box than with regular paper mail and in addition is the saving for paper, envelopes and time to handle the paper path incl. walk to the mailbox.
